MEET MEGAN

Megan Bosence is a Canadian visual artist specializing in illustration using watercolour and gouache on papyrus paper. Inspired by the processes of creativity, she began to explore the world of illustration; experimenting with what would become her main medium: watercolour, gouache and pen on papyrus paper. She was drawn to this material for its ability to weave together the old world and the new, adding a layered and nostalgic quality to each of her pieces. Through her work, Megan aims to express everyday occurrences found in nature. Her goal is to celebrate these ordinary moments, often taken for granted, and elevate them to extraordinary.

Megan currently resides in Munich, Germany with her husband and their son. She continues to work on both her personal practice and commissioned works, which are available locally and worldwide.
